Cyanide plating of oily components

Can non cyanide plating plant be successful in case of heavy oil films with thick viscosity on surface oils like tapping oil ?
Which plant (cyanide, non cyanide) would be better for thick oil film on components?

I assume you are speaking about zinc plating, Anuj. Cyanide is a good cleaner, so it is true that some years ago when non-cyanide processes become available they were often not "drop in replacements" because the work was still too dirty by the time it got to the plating tank for successful non-cyanide plating. But today we recognize that the parts must be fully clean before they reach the plating tank, and it is therefore not necessary to run cyanide-based processes.
