Which material for industrial water




We have a cooling water line pipe ( 304L ) and after 6 mounts we watch many pitting in line.
cl = 300 ppm
T = ambient
Mg, Ca , TDS = high

Now we want know which material can be useful for this service ( 316L, carbon steel ,...)

Reza,

Have you tried ordinary PVC pipe? You didn't mention temperature, PVC is OK to 140 °F at around l5% of its working pressure ... then there's CPVC.

But then you didn't mention the temperature nor the pressure nor the pipe size.
