Ash stuck to brass
I have bought an old Art Nouveau brass jardiniere, which polished up beautifully on the outside, but someone had been using it as a dump for the ashes from their fire. The ashes have set, almost like concrete. Please can anyone tell me what (short of 00 steel wool
⇦ this on
eBay or
Amazon [affil links] !) will remove the ashes?

I think this would be child's play for a power washer, Doc. Good luck.
