Repaint Aluminum Balcony Railing
I have a aluminum balcony railing that was painted black. Much of the paint has oxidized but some still adheres. I want to repaint it black. Will I need to remove the old paint? If so, how?.
When it is removed how do I treat the aluminum before painting, and what kind of paint do I use to re-paint?

Wet and dry sandpaper used wet and rinsed will remove the paint oxide. No need to strip it to bare aluminum. Go to a real paint store and ask them for a primer specifically intended for aluminum. Prime and paint.
