Formulas for nickel and zinc brighteners!

Where can I get the formulas to manufacture brighteners for the electroplating market?

How fat is your wallet, cousin Willie? :-)

Asking where you can get brightener formulas is a bit like asking where to get the source code for Windows or Macintosh. Such brightener formulas are the result of decades of privately-funded research, and are the industry's most closely held secrets. If you locate a process supplier who offers brighteners that please you, and make it worth their while to license the formulations to you, that is how it is done.

But it is possible to get started on a small budget by reading published info on how they work. The ASM Metals Handbook, Vol. 5 has an excellent chapter on nickel plating which names and explains generic (not proprietary) brighteners and addition agents. Best of luck.

Dear Sir,
It is really complex work, and you need experience. First, you need to know the exact formula and get the equipment and right persons together, and after you formulate the formulations, you need the test that gives you the best results for your baths. As a tip for you, there are approx. 7-8 intermediates chemicals in the nickel brightener.
It is complicated, right.
But don't give up man , Go on searching the net more and believe yourself, (I did it, and produced it, I am sure you can do it too.)
good luck,
the best regards,
