Cleaning nickel anodes

2006

Hello,
I have a few nickel plating tanks.
I'm looking for a simple and practical method for cleaning the s-nickel anodes I have in my baskets.
Many thanks.

First of two simultaneous responses --

Cleaning from what? Nickel salts, sand from blasting operations, dirt and dust, polishing paste residues, wax, grease, oil, other chemicals.

Second of two simultaneous responses --

Depends on what is on them. If it is just the black sulfide muck that forms in the bottom of your bags, I've found an overnight soak in one of my agitated rinse tanks with a good hosing down afterwards works fine.
