Difference between using E-Coating and Hot Dipped Galvanizing?
Hello, can someone please let me know the main differences between E-coating and Hot dipped galvanising ? We sell steel furniture all over the world and are very interested in applying the best procedure to our items to enhance warranty periods.

Galvanizing is not usually considered a decorative process. Typical examples of galvanizing can be seen in dull gray roofing nails, metal trash cans, and metal barn roofs. E-coat is sometimes a decorative final finish (in the case of electrophoretic lacquer) and sometimes not (electrocoated primers applied to auto bodies).
If the steel is properly phosphatized, then properly e-coated, then properly powder coated, I think you would have a highly decorative finish that you can warranty.
