Electrocleaner Foam Dissipation Tests

2000

Hello all,

My name is Jeff Eggert, Technical Field Service Engineer. I was wondering if anyone knows of a standardized or published method to test the foaming capacities of alkaline electrocleaners. I'm actually looking for a quantitative method to determine how much foam is generated and how long it takes to dissipate.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

The Ross Miles Foam Height test at zero and 5 minutes is a widely used method for industrial surfactants.
