Chrome plating and coloring of stainless steel
Please tell me about the processes for achieving various finishes on stainless steel products like kitchen utensils and Bathroom accessories. How chrome coating can be done on these products? I am also interested in coloring technology of stainless steel. Please note that we use various grades of steel to manufacture our products. Thanks.

Sir you coat an Electroless nickel-PTFE coating on your steel articles, there are many colours available. Or you coat the PTFE-ceramic coating.

Hi, Srawan. Colors can be imparted by an electrolytic oxidation process for stainless steel, which is sometimes called anodizing.
Stainless steel can be chrome plated, and you can bead blast or brush finish the stainless before you do the chrome plating, but chrome plating is the bright tone as a mirror -- it has no color (except a very small "bluish" cast as opposed to the slight "yellowish" cast of nickel or "whitish" cast of silver. Good luck.
Kalyan's answer is fine, but it is only one way, not the only way.
