Printing/Marking Aluminium tube, OD = 8.7mm

2006

I have 10,000 aluminium tubes 80 mm long, with an outside diameter of 8.7 mm. Does anyone know how these could be printed/marked with a product name/logo down the length?

An adhesive vinyl stencil and sand blast will make 'em look very nice. Paint is a little tricky on aluminum but can also be done if it is first given a treatment with a chemical called aluminum wash. In my opinion, engraving, either with a machine or with laser will be the nicest looking but more expensive and hard to get. There are other alternatives.

Hi, Lynx ink jet printers made in Cambridge England will print these very well, like the printing on drinks cans and cable.
