Industry standard for cosmetics on clear chromate, aluminum

I was wondering if there was a Industry Standard on Clear Chromate over Aluminum as far as appearance and scratches.

It would be the responsibility of the end-user to decide the cosmetic requirements of an item and a platers' job to comply with them.
