Calibration of Timer for Water Immersion Tanks on Passivate Line
-----
We have gone to a system on our passivate line where the transfer of water is timed by a computer program, rather than a mechanical timer. The timer we once used was calibrated, naturally, but we are at something of a quandary on how to calibrate the computerized program, or if it really needs calibration. The transfer times are printed out with the different cycles. Does this sound like something that needs calibration, and if so, how do we go about calibrating the program?

There are programs available to sync your computer's clock with the official US time at www.time.gov

Is this rinsewater? Drag-out and/or flowing rinses?
Unless there's a very uniform workload, I would expect water control using liquid level and conductivity or pH measurements.
