Copper Testing Final Effluent

What is the proper way to do a copper test on Distillery effluent?

Your question is somewhat vague but I'm guessing that you want to find out the copper concentration in the effluent you're discharging to the sewer?

If this is the case you need to get a colorimeter to measure the copper concentration. 'Pocket colorimeters' are available for less than £500. The test should take no more than 10 minutes. A good model is the Hach 58700-19 which is available in the UK from Camlab but I'm sure there are other suppliers in the marketplace who have similar instruments.A search on google should throw up some other options for you.
