How do we get nickel or nickel-chrome plating on aluminum sand casting product surface

We export handicraft items - many of them made from aluminum sand casting. For this what is the best procedure to get a stainless steel look finish as anodising is corroding the surface of the piece. Thanks in advance.

Corrosion from an anodizing operation may come from improper rinsing or contamination of bath or base metal. All these problems will also manifest with any plating procedure, so you must identify and correct them before attempting to change from anodizing to something else.
