Q. How to make the aluminum surface to be like the skin of an orange(with lots of small surfaces to reflect)? We need to make such surface on the aluminum reflector. Please reply if you know!

A. Mr. Wen,
How are you producing your parts now? More specifically, how are you producing the parabolic surface and imparting brightness? If you are using a stamping die or a mold it may be a matter of giving the tool the orange peel effect. If the finish has to be applied to the already formed parts and the aluminum wall is thin, then blasting will distort it beyond acceptable limits.
