Salt bath nitriding Vs TiN
2006
Dear Sir,
We are in sheet metal industry.
Which is better for draw dies, salt bath nitriding or TiN ?
What will be the Co-efficient of friction with salt bath nitriding?
Steel strips and wheels - Chandigarh, India
TiN, though thinner, works better for it is harder, cleaner and does not produce a white layer found in salt bath nitriding.
