Furnace brazing / annealing and chrome plating

Dear Sirs,
I have been asked whether there are any specific steel grades that are suitable for chrome plating after furnace brazing / annealing.
Particularly in towel warmer radiators (which can be assembled by furnace brazing, among other technologies) it seems that if steel tubes are not of the right grade, then some kind of orange peel effect will show up after chrome plating.
As I have no direct experience on this, I would appreciate your competent opinion.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
