Suitability of nimonics with acids




CAN I USE NIMONIC FITTINGS IN THE PUMP MEANT FOR PUMPING ACIDS LIKE NITRIC ACID, HYDROCHLORIC ACID etc.

May I suggest that you go to Specialty Metals USA or Speciality Metals Wiggin?

Wiggin probably came out with the FIRST Nimonics in the world... for jet turbine blades.

But you mentioned your pump but didn't say what is what made of, did you?

For ambient temperature emissions of those lovely acids, why in the heck don't you consider ordinary uPVC? And PVC just loves sulfuric, nitric, aqua regia, HCl, HF and my favourite, Perchloric.
