ELECTROLYTIC PICKLING

Is electrolytic pickling done on aircraft steel to remove corrosion, does it affect the condition of steel in any manner?

Shahid,

You need to give a little more detail to your process. Is it acid (sulfuric, Nitric, Citric etc) or alkaline (Caustic, Cyanide, Carbonate etc)? At what concentration? At what temperature? And finally, what properties are you looking at (embrittlement, strength, dimensional, oxide removal. etc.)?

Give these little tidbits of info and I think someone will be able to help you.
