Powder coating to coat a steel gas tank
2006
I am just beginning to use powder coating to finish parts on a motorcycle. I am thinking of powder coating a new gas tank (outside) and would like to consider using powder coating in the inside at the same time as a tank sealer. I have searched your archives and the web, but not been able to find any info or advise on how to do this.
Is there a product specifically sold for powder coating the inside of gas tanks? if not, what type of powder coating would you recommend if I want to experiment with this idea?
thanks,

If you are experimenting, start with an epoxy powder, they are recommended for chemical resistance. There could be a good reason as to why you can't find information about this anywhere. Go with your instincts.
