Galvanneal Popping or Outgassing in E-Coat
Are their any testing methods for Galvanneal parts to pre-determine if there will be a problem with the substrate prior to the E-Coat process in regards to Galvanneal popping and or outgassing of the substrate?

One method that helps is a quench test with and without the E-Coat; heat up to 200 degrees C and quench in cold water and look for surface deterioration.
