Which one is the best stainless steel

We are in manufacturing of stainless steel trolleys which are used in steam containers for the processing industry. At present we are using SS304 grade available in the market. Since it is kept completly in steam chamber we want to use the best steel which can withstand the conditions. At the same time it should be cost effective.

Dear sir
The grade SS304 which you are using now is the best.If you want to clarify the grades and their uses, refer Sail (salem)manual book. This may give you some ideas.

What problems do you have as a result of using 304 stainless? If we knew what your problems were, we could perhaps suggest solutions.

If you have no problems with 304, and given that any other feasible stainless steel would be more expensive, why would you wish to change?

Well, you may try 321 or 347 stainless steel because they are for high-temperature working conditions.
