Remove copper buildup on carbide tooling balls




Looking for a method to remove buildup of copper and copper oxides from carbdie tooling balls without damaging to carbide.

We can control the bulit up edge by various methods . Increase the cutting speed and/or decrease the feed and/ or use flood coolant .

caustic soda ⇦liquid caustic soda in bulk on Amazon [affil link] , potash and ammonia this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] among other chemicals will dissolve copper w/o attack to carbide tools. But remember there will be vapors, odors, chemical wastes and disposal concerns (specially with ammonia).
