Parkerized Coat v. Hard Anodizing Coat v. Powder Coat
I have a Remington 870 SuperMag shotgun that is in dire need of a recoat. I'm having difficulty determining which would be the best most economical solution. Any recommendations?

Parkerizing only applies to steel; hard anodizing only applies to aluminum -- so that reduces your choices to two. Powder coat is the same thing as paint except that instead of using a solvent that evaporates, the 'paint' is applied as a powder and melted on.
