COLOR CLASS 3

Needing to know what color is class 3 film per MIL-C-5541.

According to MIL-C-5541, materials qualified under Mil-QPL-81706 produce coatings that range in color from clear to to iridescent yellow or brown. Unless clear is specified there should always be some color. Color will vary depending on the alloy used as well. Typically, Class 3 coatings will be more to the straw color because the coating weight is less due to less exposure to the qualified chemical.
