Black anodized aluminum

We are developing industrial servers and displays. In one of our versions with an aluminum front we have a problem with the black anodized finish. At the moment it appears to be cloudy. So it might be a difference in layer thickness or something. Does anybody know in which direction I need to look for the solution?
I do not know that much about the process there; I normally develop plastic parts.

Hi Richard. Try to "cut out the middleman" if you can by asking your anodizing shop that is producing poor quality work if they wish to write to this site. Or look for an anodizing shop that produces better work. Although we'll see if anyone can help, it may not be realistic to expect readers to be able to offer any useful information to an anodizing shop in this situation.
