Custom etching of gun barrels
I am a Jewelry designer and student metalsmith. I have a client that has asked me to etch a saying into a gun barrel for him. I have seen pieces that have been etched before, but I am not sure if standard acid etching was used or if something else is required? As I am new to this arena, I am searching for some more experienced advice before I under take this project. Thank you for your assistance.

IF YOU WANT SOME WRITING OR SMALL DRAWINGS YOU CAN USE STENCIL ,A FELT PAD SOAKED WITH SOME KIND OF ACID ,AND A SMALL AC OR DC POWER UNIT.GOOD LUCK.
