Can steel be silver plated?

I have a specially designed bottle opener laser cut for me. My question is....Can I silver plate steel after it's has been tumbled?

It depends on what you mean by "Can I", Dan. Steel can certainly be silver plated by a plating shop if that's what you mean.

If you ARE looking to do it yourself, look into metallic paints - they'll look good, and although they will eventually chip and wear off, any quantity you buy will be enough to re-apply once that happens.

Good luck.
