We are a major manufacturer of aluminium utensils in Pakistan. So we wish to enhance our production and finishing. Due to that concern we request you to please send us the required information. We give many many thanks for this cooperation.

We need complete information and procedure about color anodizing cooking ware (utensils). Also request for the technology regarding this purpose.

Hello, Mr. Salim. There are several books about anodizing, and perhaps you can get hold of one of them and then ask for clarification where the books are not clear on particular points, and pose any specific questions that you may have. But there is so much involved in your inquiry -- from how to prep the aluminum, to the thickness of anodizing, to safety and permanence of the dyes, to two-step anodizing and integral color anodizing, to sealing procedures, to testing -- that it's too broad to be practically answerable in a public forum. It takes several chapters of a textbook to offer even a general introduction. Good luck.

Hello, Respected Ted Mooney

Thanks for your kind response.  But here we have a problem of availability of any kind of information, procedure and technology.  Before this, we used to do simple anodizing.  Now we enhance to our productive quality regarding aluminium anodized utensils especially color anodizing.

Please refer us to sites, books, companies and experts.   Also, we export our product to USA and England as well.  And to fulfill the current market demand we require the above-requested information.

Again many thanks and hope to see you soon from your cooperative site.

Well, we think this is the best website, but others are listed on our Links page. There are some additional links on our list of metal finishing professional organizations and societies. As for books, see our "must-have" book list. Companies offering anodizing chemistry are listed in our Chemicals & Perishables Directory, and experts in our Directory of Consultants.

I have not seen colored anodized cookware and am not at all sure that it would pass FDA requirements. Good luck with the project.
