The lowest standard I have for my PosiTector 2000 is one mil, which is >>much thicker than an oxide coating, so I would say no.

What is the reason for trying to measure the thickness of a copper oxide on copper. This can be done by surface measurements vs. residual after an acid strip of the tube.
