NaCl as an inhibitor of Amylase
I read all the ideas about copper sulphate ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] as an inhibitor of different enzymes and would appreciate it if someone could tell me if NaCl has a similar effect.

Actually, NaCl is an activator of amylase. It has the opposite effect.

I needed to know what effects NaCl (as an inhibitor) would have on a protease enzyme (i.e. in washing powder)
