ACTIVATE NICKEL WITHOUT ACID

Use 2 oz/gal Nickel Carbonate with 14 oz/gal Potassium Cyanide, make the parts cathodic at about 6 to 8 volts, stainless anode, for about 5 minutes. This will "activate" (remove nickel oxide) in most cases. However, if it is a heavy aged or burned on nickel oxide, you will still have to use electrolytic acid activators, preferable NIckel Chloride Strike.
