Welding galvanized metal

In the gas metal arc welding process, what shielding gas and wire are recommended for galvanized metal?

I do not know the answers to your two questions. However in the welding of galvanized steel the WELDER needs fresh air to avoid zinc metal fume poisoning which can be very serious.
