Powder coated surfaces which we'd like to paint over

2005

We have some powder coated surfaces which we'd like to paint over - to change the colour.

Would you be able to tell me if this is possible and what the process is?

with many thanks form Down-Under,

Sand the gloss off of the existing paint, at this point it will be a good primer for wet paint or another application of powder. Don't sand down to the bare metal or you will have to prime those spots somehow. Wipe it down with alcohol and then tac-cloth it and it's ready to repaint.
