Bike Wheels getting rusted
2005
Recently moved from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam (Sea Coast) of late I realised my bike rims and the accessories(nickel coated) are getting rusted.
I wanted to know any cure and preventive spray will help.
Thank you,

The quality of the plating is apparently not up to the task, so perhaps all you can do is routinely apply chrome polish and wash.

As a retired motorcyclist, I have two suggestions.
1) Use chrome polish as little as possible, preferably not at all. I've used vinegar
⇦in bulk on
eBay
or
Amazon [affil links] and a non-metallic brush, but it takes some work.
2) Keep a coat of good quality paste car wax
⇦ this on
eBay
or
Amazon [affil links]
on everything.
