Die cast plating options

2005

We are having heat sinks made from die cast LM24. From questions asked earlier we know that die cast aluminum alloys do not anodize well.

Can someone tell us what - if any - plating options are well suited for die cast AL alloys like LM24? (The plating option of choice would be dark and uniform in color for optimum emissivity and appearance.)

Help would be much appreciated.

I know electroless nickel plating with blackening treatment is very common and works well.
