Black chromium & red chromium by PVD sputtering?

your name here

Q. Could someone tell me how to make the black chromium (the gasses used and the target material and all other technical information about the deposition process) by PVD?

Thanks in advance for the help.

A. Chromium oxide is black. It is deposited by reactively sputtering Cr targets with Ar/O2 mixture.

Q. Hello, can someone advise me how to make red chrome during reactive sputtering (PVD) or what gases to let into the chamber? I am currently running argon and nitrogen.
