HOW TO PROTECT A THREAD ON A BOLT

2005

Dear Sirs,

I need to protect the thread on a threaded bolt (external thread), and chrome only the head. I have the same question also for a threaded nut with blind hole (internal thread), what's the easy and cheaper way to protect the thread (external and internal) ?

Best regards

You may try putting a nut on to mask the bolt and vice versa.
