Failures in heat affected zones

Hi,
I am going to present a paper on the enhancement of heat affected areas with the use of titanium in s.s,however titanium is very expensive so won't it affect the cost of the material. Is there any other alternative.can you tell me something about any failures in the heat affected zones.

I don't have a clear idea what your project is about, Kaushik. Please spend a couple of more paragraphs explaining it. Thanks.

Kaushik,
Surely if you are presenting a paper on enhancement of HAZs in stainless steel by titanium, you should be telling us about it, not asking for further ideas that you can put into your paper. Perhaps you would like to tell us here before you publish your paper how titanium is beneficial to the HAZ and explain its mechanisms. Then you paper will be old news and of no significance! Sorry to be so negative, but in the creation and dissemination of knowledge, there is research, plagarism and downright robbery and I think you can guess which I think this is! If I have got the wrong end of the stick, I apologise, but if not....

Adding anything is going to effect the cost of the stainless Kaushik, even if it's something other than titanium. But, what should it matter since it's just a research paper, include the price increase as part of the research and you might win the prize.
