How to dissolve stainles steel 304 and 316

I'm looking for an effective way of dissolving stainless steel.

Its a new invention and as part of this, there is a small stainless steel pipe. 30 mm long 1 mm thick and with 0.3 mm walls.

This little pipe must be dissolved as quickly as possible with a very small amount of liquid.

Could you please give us suggestions to what chemicals will be the best to use?

How quick is good enough for you? Minutes? hours? days? Can this thing be dissolved electrolitically instead of chemically? (Might be easier, cheaper, faster and safer) Any chemist can give you a couple of recipes for this task but are so hazardous that I wouldn't reveal them in a casual conversation or public discussion forum.
