STAINLESS STEEL TITANIUM COATING

ESTIMATING COST:

FOR STAINLESS STEEL TITANIUM COATING,DOES IT GO BY AREA OR WEIGHT?

FOR EXAMPLE, HOW MUCH DOES COATING OF 1 m2 STAINLESS STEEL SHEET COST?
IS THE THICKNESS FACTOR IN PRICE?

HOW DOES METAL FINISHING PLACE PRICE A STAINLESS STEEL SHEET 2 SQUARE METER AND A FACE PLATE 4" BY 10"?

ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON ETCHING THE FINISHED SHEETS?

Hello, Mr. Mabrouk. All surface finishing processes are most heavily impacted by the surface area because the process takes place on the surface. But things cannot be shipped for free or handled for free, but rather must be charged by size and weight, so thicker sheets would be somewhat more expensive to process than thin ones. Still, perhaps the most significant factor of all is how much business is involved, and here you don't indicate whether you have one part or a hundred thousand.

I don't think any shop will publicly post their actual pricing formula, though, because it would benefit their competitors by allowing them to reliably quote a slightly lower price, while opening themselves to charges of price collusion. The best approach is to get private quotes from several suppliers. Good luck.
