Titration Help
I am searching for procedures and information in laymen's terms for titration of various acids and bases (Nitric, Phosphoric, Hydrochloric, and Sodium Hydroxide).

In laymen's terms, titration means you determine how strong (how acidic or how alkaline) an unknown chemical is by gradually mixing into it a chemical of known strength until some predefined thing happens that indicates that the original chemical has been neutralized by the chemical you added to it. Then you look at how much of the original chemical you had, and how much of the known strength chemical was needed to neutralize it, and you solve for the unknown--which is the strength of the original solution.
Stop into Barnes & Noble or a college bookstore and thumb through a Shaum's Outline of Chemistry. I think you'll find all the formulas and a bunch of worked examples.
