I WANT TO KNOW THE SOLVENT AND APPLICATIONS OF GOLD POWDER (FA-8460) USED TO DRAW A GOLD LINE IN A GLAZE IN CERAMIC MANUFACTURE

Hello, Remon. Our responders tend to either work for suppliers of proprietary chemicals (and thus not be at liberty to disclose such information), or to be applicators whose experience has led them to feel it doesn't make sense to mess with home brew. So you probably won't get too much help from this site in formulation of products. But gold firing is a very old technology, so you should at least be able to come up with some old fashioned formulations in the literature.

If you just want to draw the gold line rather than formulate the solution yourself, you can get it off the shelf as Liquid Gold Overglaze [affil links]from a number of suppliers. Good luck!
