Plating Si with EN




Hello All,

How is Si glass plated with EN for good adhesion. I have tried palladium seed layer with no luck. The rest of the process is standard...soak cleaner HCl dip etc...HELP PLEASE

Hi Leonard,
What is your meaning about Si glass? I've been working on EN plating on GPP silicone wafer for years. If your subtrate is silicone wafer with glass pattened, surface cleaning shall affect EN result! That means you have SiO2 or glass residue on the surface.And, what kind of EN you use?
