What should be the actual metal grade for galvanizing pot.

The exact material for Zinc Pot is Low carbon alloy steel .its available in India, SAIL makes the material for Zinc pot .

I hope your only advice is not for low carbon steel...It will last you 3 months, at best. The most important spec. is low silicon. You really should make the investment and purchase a kettle from reputable source. There is a good supplier in Germany and one in the U.S.A. Good luck!

Zinc pot material could be 2 material:
1, Low carbon and low silicon steel. (Ansteel make the special steel for Zinc pot) Thickness should be 50 mm or 60 mm.
2, Stainless steel 316L. (For some galvanizing line, just like the wet flux galvanizing). Thickness could be 35 mm
