Can CrN coating be done on shaving razor blades to enhance its life?

Yes. It will enhance a little the hardness and avoid corrosion which is the main problem of the cutting edge.
Please notice that Razor blades are currently PVD coated but with a thin DLC (diamond-like-coating).
