Abrasion Resistance

We do Zinc cobalt with electroless nickel under coat on ADC 12 Pressure Die cast components. Olive green passivation is done over that.

Is the surface scratch free. What is the abrasion resistance ?

I don't understand the question, Giridharan. If you are doing the process, don't you already know whether it scratches or is abrasion resistant? We haven't any idea what the parts look like, what their function is, how much abuse they get during manufacture and plating, etc.

But certainly olive drab chromate is a rather soft finish that would be subject to scratching and would not hold up to abrasion.
