What is the safest, cost effective and most practical way to remove the Zinc coating from the inside and outside of Galvanized Sch.40 Pipe, in order to weld two pipes together?

Hello, Tim. Have a plating shop dip it in dilute (10-20 percent) hydrochloric acid for you. Good luck,
