Plating on magnesium motorcycle covers
WE A LARGE JOB SHOP AND WANT TO PLATE ON MAGNESIUM MOTORCYCLE PARTS FOR SHOW. NEED A PROCESS THAT WORKS WELL AND IS TESTED AND USED EVERY DAY WITH GOOD RESULTS.

Try looking up ASTM B480. The process is outlined there. Some mfgrs. do make a zincate for magnesium which is basically that which is described.

If you are a large job shop you must have some good and reputed suppliers. Why not asking them? They will surely have much more interest to give a good advise and full service than someone far away in front of his monitor answering posts for fun.
