Is black chrome as strong as white?

I want to use black chrome plated fasteners for motorcycle parts because of matching with other same plated parts including engine.
Is there a problem Quality i.e., strength with black chrome as now we are using White chrome for the same.

White chrome is very hard but black chrome is very soft.

Hi, Sara! I think you need to qualify that a bit. Decorative black chromium is perfectly functional as a decorative finish.
